Ines Katamso It Happened.
ISA Art & Design proudly presents It Happened, a solo show by Ines Katamso combining the "pragmatism of the sciences" with the "emotion and idealism of art". Taking her art in new ingenious directions, she was inspired by the complexities surrounding the origin of life, its evolution and the many scientific theories that attempt to explain them.
Ines combines painting and creative sense with thorough research into biology, microbiology, and physics. She curates a collection of artworks that encourage its viewers to contemplate their existence and impact on the natural world. The show's title, "It Happened", was chosen for its mystery and simplicity; it hardly requires explanation but arouses curiosity.
