Fates and Furies: Sinta Tantra and Yosefa Aulia at Appetite, Singapore

‘Fates and Furies’  exhibition curated by Tan Siuli brings together works by artists that draw on myth, archetypes and art history, to express conflicted or ambivalent narratives, ranging from evocative personal vignettes, to seething political or social allegory.

 

Sinta Tantra and Yosefa Aulia, both emphasize the fluidity and interconnectedness of their experiences and environments. Yosefa Aulia connects past and future, self and others through visual representations of individuals and their surroundings and Sinta Tantra’s works are designed to subtly transform throughout the day, offering shifting moods and perspectives, in response to time and space.
