‘Zenith of Sky in White’ by Sinta Tantra is the intersection between a painting and architecture, striking a fine balance between two-dimensional and three-dimensional spaces. The painting draws inspiration from the life and works of world-renown American architect and polymath, a genius of his field, Buckminster Fuller. Tantra did an extensive study of Fuller’s blueprint designs in preparation of creating her Buckminster Fuller series and was fascinated by the line, and how at times it offered more imaginative possibilities than color. Tantra would ask a question, “Can total immersion be achieved through the simplicity of line alone?”
